About NeversideNeverside StaffOverviewThese people are the enforcers and maintainers of this community. Each has been chosen for their ability in leadership, maturity, and overall understanding of the community. It has never been a popularity contest with us, we elect members to be staff who we feel have the ability to maturely and ideally manage aspects that they are assigned to. This goes from organizing events, to demonstrating proper behavior in threads, submissions, etc. Community DirectorsCommunity Directors have the responsibility of their department. Community Relations, Neversidian, Development and more. Their sole responsibility is the area(s) they are assigned to govern & maintain while contributing and offering help every other area of Neverside also. They review every complaint, suggestion and compliment sent in by members. Individual e-mails are provided if you'd like to talk to an individual director. For general issues you'd like to bring to our attention, please use the general director e-mail address provided. AbsoluteCross - David DunkerlyCommunity Founder & Lead DirectorAbsoluteCross, is the only remaining founder & director of this community. Formerly founded under TutorialForums. Dave has led this community while at the same time, being an active participant in the community from day one. Being the sole founder of this community, and currently the Lead Director. One of the most respected members & administrator in this community, he has fought and made this community progress. All while being the backbone of this community in terms of management. Dave maintains & coordinates with the directors and staff as a whole on the direction of the community. Locke - Shawn R. LockheartCommunity Relations DirectorLocke, was originally the lead developer for the project formerly known as TutorialCentral, which is now Neverside. Currently heading up the Community Relations team, Shawn works with the members & staff to bring new features and privileges to the end users. His duties as Community Relations Director, also include being in charge of the support & feedback areas of the community. He still maintains his duties to the development and progression of Neverside. Jeremie - Jérémie PelletierCommunity Development DirectorBefore Jeremie it was just vBulletin. Due to Jeremie's leadership ability, as well as his determination and passion for excellence, we enter the age of NeverAPI. Jeremie currently leads the development team and the overall development of Neverside. One of our most valuable directors, as his help and consideration to others has been much appreciated. Little known fact, Jeremie helped out Neverside in it's early years totally voluntary, we owe him many thank yous. Phil - Phil BrodeurNeversidian Director & Editor-In-ChiefPhil has been a staff member of Neverside since back when he was known as the arrogant Ares of the Development Forums. He has been in several management roles in the community some worth noting being Neverside's Development Coordination, Training Manager which was never attained and a Community Manager of TutorialForums. His background in creative writing, content quality control, overall time organization & staff management makes him the prime choice as Neversidian's Director & Editor-In-Chief. Along with his duties he is the sole developer of the Neversidian engine. ManagersThese breed of staff oversee various areas or in conjunction with another manager. From the forums, studio, codebase and so forth, they all have a duty to their area and also manage the staff in their area. They are also insane, so be mindful and be afraid. Use their individual e-mails if you'd like to get ahold of that particular manager for an area, for general complaints & suggestions, please use the general manager e-mail address. Sykil - Stephen MaloneCommunity Staff ManagerThe newcomer grammar nazi, Sykil, offers a lot to the community... and we don't mean free English lessons. During the season of which darthy is disposed of with University work, Stephen is her support when she is here, and when she isn't. Also, he's good for proofreading, so if you have a homework paper due, call Stephen. You can also go to him if you are interested in a staff position. pHaez - Eric IlesNevernet Manager & Centrility Lead DeveloperA long time friend of the community, not really active in the community, however that doesn't mean pHaez hasn't contributed in a big way. He currently runs & maintains our IRC network, which is named Nevernet. Eric has been an extraordinary help with the community in getting us setup with a secure and stable IRC network. He is also developing the next evolution of Neverside, Centrility, which I'm sure you all will see updates and previews for later this year. Angelessme - James LiuNevernet ManagerWhat can we say about James? Well, nothing. His personality and who he is can only be known to those who attend our IRC Network, Nevernet, and participate with his random thoughts of absolutely nothing. He spams the forums occassionaly also. However, angelessme has been an invaluable help to the maintenance and supervision of the network, we don't know what we'd do without him. You can also find him posting about hardware in the Computer Talk Forums. Freak - Rick YribeCommunity Forum Manager & Site DesignerRick has been with us a long time, mainly as a client-side moderator. He was my first choice as a forum manager, because freak simply knows what's up. His participation, dedication, and overall leadership qualities around the forum make him one of the best choices to represent that area of Neverside. He is also a developer with us, he is incharge of the lite skin that will be released hopefully later in 2005. Not to mention his excellent help and dedication to fixing bugs in cross-browser compatibility with the site, and any errors we've come across. Rick also leads the Development Forum Leaders. Down - Joe ShoopCommunity Forum ManagerJoey Joe Joe! Mr. Shoop has been with us awhile, he loves long walks in the park, or well no. Down supervises the forums in conjunction with Rick. Wonderful help to the development team with help on CSS bugs and compatibility issues. Joe is always ready to help, and his ability to lead and take direction has just been a wonderful influence on the entire staff & community. Joe is in charge of the Design Forum Leaders as well. Community Development TeamThe heart of the interaction and functionality of this website. Under the lead and direction of Jeremie, this team defies all logic to bring to the members, the best community there is to offer. Their work speaks for itself, and each developer is chosen based on their ability and dedication to the community. Which all of them are very dedicated & passionate about this community, exactly what we need. If you come across something you think should be fixed, or a bug in the system, you can contact them individually or by the general developer e-mail which we recommend. Community Forum LeadersThe forums are one of our busiest areas, right now mainly because it's all that is open for public use. Also it is because it is the root of this community. So the leaders have a lot of responsibility to show maturity and member satisfaction throughout, not an easy task. They are also specifically chosen and recruited for having either aptitude in design or development. As both the forum design & development leader teams moderate the general forums, we only recruit in areas they can contribute and know the ins & outs of. You can also contact all of them by using the general forum leader e-mail address, or you can talk to them individually if you need to speak with. Nevernet StaffThe IRC Network, which is codenamed Nevernet, is a huge responsibility. Why you may ask? IRC Networks are prone to a lot of attacks and piracy traffic. So it's a huge responsibility to be put in charge of managing it, and supervising everyone. The Nevernet team is made up of a mix of channel operators, halfops, and channel admins. Not everyone is included who makes it to be an operator, halfop, channel admin, etc. they are specially selected to give their voice and authority to others and help regulate the network. You can reach the entire team by the general IRC e-mail address. |
